The following practices are not allowed:
- Sending emails to purchased or rented mailing lists
- Using scraped or harvested email addresses
- Adding recipients without their clear consent
We strongly recommend using opt-in or double opt-in methods to collect subscriber emails.
Examples of spam include:
- Sending marketing emails to users who did not request them
- Sending excessive emails within a short period
- Repeatedly sending the same promotional message
Accounts involved in spam activity may have their sending privileges restricted or suspended.
Users may not:
- Use misleading or deceptive subject lines
- Use clickbait that does not reflect the email content
- Impersonate another person, company, or brand
Your email subject line and content must accurately reflect what the recipient will receive.
- A clear sender identity
- A valid contact method
- A visible and functional unsubscribe link
Recipients must be able to easily opt out of future emails.
Users may not:
- Continue sending emails to unsubscribed recipients
- Re-add unsubscribed users to mailing lists
Failure to honor unsubscribe requests may result in account restrictions.
Examples of abusive behavior include:
- Sending multiple promotional emails within a short period
- Sending large volumes of emails without meaningful content
Maintaining responsible sending practices helps ensure better deliverability for all users.
- Fraudulent or scam-related content
- Phishing attempts or deceptive links
- Malware, viruses, or harmful software
- Illegal products or services
- Harassment, hate speech, or abusive content
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
Users may not:
- Collect email addresses through deceptive methods
- Share, sell, or distribute subscriber lists without consent
- Store or process personal data in violation of applicable laws
- CAN-SPAM Act
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
Failure to comply with these regulations may result in account suspension.
- Complaint rates
- Bounce rates
- Spam reports
Accounts with abnormal or abusive activity may be temporarily restricted or permanently suspended.
Actions may include:
- Temporarily restricting email sending privileges
- Suspending or terminating accounts
These actions may be taken without prior notice in cases of severe abuse.
